- Rock salt or ice melt?
- Rock salt handles most Toronto winter days. Below roughly minus 10 it stops working well, so steps and entrances get an ice-melt blend on cold nights. The service log says which one went down.
- Will salt damage my interlock or concrete?
- Heavy rock salt can spall newer concrete and stain interlock. Tell us the surface on your quote and we use a gentler product where it matters.
